A little off topic, but not too...Dear Rubricarius,<br /><br />A little off topic, but not too far, I hope.<br />Some of us (quite a lot down under) live in places where Our Lady Help of Christians is patron. Some do not. I think this feast is in old missals under ‘by special grant in certain places’, but I may be wrong. The feast was last week – falling on the Octave of the Ascension. I assume that the Feast, where required, would take precedence – either over an Octave day, because it is a feast in itself, or because she is patron. <br />In those places, today is the Octave day of that – or would be if not for the Privileged octave of Pentecost. <br />What must those of us under her Patronage celebrate this week? <br /><br />Thanks,<br />Ac.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
