Is the reading "Fidelis sermo" indicated for the First Nocturn on May 17 an error? It comes from the Common of Bishops, but S. Paschal Baylon was not a bishop. Or is this reading used since "Beatus vir" (from the Common on Con-Non-Pon), which one would expect, was already used earlier in the week?
What is a private mass exactly?

ReplyDelete@Joël,
ReplyDeleteO'Connell gives nine definitions of the term, all different.
@Peter,
A typo from overwriting a previous edition.
