All orders received by noon (UK time), Monday 19th, will have been dispatched.
New orders will be processed, and any queries answered, from 29th December. The weekly extract from the Ordo will appear on this 'blog on Sunday evenings.
May all customers and readers have a very blessed and happy Christmas.
My order (ordered Dec. 1) goes to Germany and hasn't arrived yet. It should have been a Christmas gift and it would be a shame if it didn't arrive in time. I know that you are not to blame for the delivery difficulties in the wake of Brexit, but perhaps it would be possible to prevent this by being able to order the Ordo for 2024 by October 2023 at the latest. For residents of EU countries, placing an order is currently like gambling. (My ordo for 2022 came in mid-January even though it was ordered in November before!) Please make this happen! Thank you and Merry Christmas!
Brexit is a moral disgrace and a monumental act of self-harm to the UK. I call it Henry VIII and Protestantism revisited.
The plan is to set up a print on demand version for the Ordo so EU customers can order from within the Single Market to solve the difficulties you describe. This has not been possible for the 2023 edition due to the amount of time I have had to devote to caring duties.
The Saint Lawrence Press is dedicated to the preservation of the classical Roman Liturgy and seeks especially to raise awareness of the process of liturgical reform before the Second Vatican Council. To meet these aims the Saint Lawrence Press publishes an Ordo Recitandi, in Latin, modelled on those produced in Rome in the middle of the last century before the unpleasant,
unfortunate, and damaging, changes of the 1950's and early 1960's.
The Ordo Recitandi contains the necessary information enabling those who wish to celebrate the traditional Divine Office and Mass to identify those variable parts for every day in the Liturgical year.
